I like her so far. Madison sleeping in the hospital bed with her son won me over completely.
She cares about people (witnessed in the scene with Tobias) and I think she's going to prove to be quite tough too.

I didn't like her in the first episode. She was way too calm and it annoyed me.
I don't know if I'll like her in the next one, we'll see..

I kind of agree with @Sadie. The character was bland and didn't impress me at all. Maybe she'll get eaten soon.

I love Kim but I'm kind of mixed about her performance in the pilot. I get like what many have posted here that her character was exhausted with family issues, Nick mostly and her job. I like how she handled Tobias. I think her character is just wrapped up in what is normal-day-to-day routine life for her but once things start to really fall apart, I hope she opens up more and starts taking control.

Honestly, I didn't really warm up to her at all. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one. Of course, it is has only been one episode so my opinion of her may change. I tend to warm up to characters I didn't originally care for.

I liked Madison so much more in the second episode. She was like a completely different character to me from the pilot.

I think she's still just trying to take everything in at this point, but she seems to be adapting pretty well for the situation.

Wow she got in my nerves tonight, thought that boy was gonna die for her stupidity, did she forget that they don't respond all they do is attack? She didn't even aim for the head the first time, at least she got him after a couple of hits.
I still think Kim can do better, Madison still seems cold unless she's with her hubby.

She's very realistic in how she's trying to comprehend what's really happening here. She's not a fighter, she doesn't know how she should react. I was bothered by her not telling the woman across the street, but I understand why she didn't. She's so confused. Plus, it's nice to see someone struggle with killing a walker again. We're so used to seeing people do it easily now.

I was under the impression she did warn her neighbor though? Maybe not as stridently as she should have (since I mean they don't even have a good idea of what's happening yet, just that it's very bad), but I think we're supposed to infer or assume that, given how we saw her crossing the street to that neighbor's house when Travis was driving off to fetch his son and ex-wife. Her face at the end when the neighbor was being attacked though, god. That killed me.

She went over there? I completely missed that then. I assumed she didn't say anything, and that's why that lady was still out there cleaning up after the party.
