As expected, Norman mentioning "Carol" and "mother" in the same breath has given new life to TD. And you know there was no kissing because his lips only belong to Beth.
Ahhhh yes. Good ol TD. Scrambling signals and interviews since 2014.
NR used that as an example to describe the intonation that he used with her. The severity of hurt and disappointment in his voice.
Let's also not forget that he's NEVER opened up to anyone before except Beth. Nope. Not ever. Not Andrea. Not Carl. For crying out loud. TD can't even keep their thoughts straight even when they're in the same sentence. Daryl didn't tell Carol about his time with the Saviors cause he doesn't open up to her. But hey! HEY! It was so noble of him to not tell her about Glenn and Abe so she wouldn't completely lose her mind. Yanno, she didn't just say if they hurt anybody, including Daryl, she'd go fight them, and completely lose herself. That has nothing to do with why Daryl kept mum about his field trip to the Sanctuary. Nope.
I love how TD conveniently leaves out the statments from NR where he says how much Carol means to Daryl and she is most inportant thing to him, and that he and MMB were sobbing when they saw each other on set. And even whem Seth Gillman said his actions to her were what love is.
I often wonder what we would do if she ever came back. I know I'd have to take the next day off because I will be up all night with y'all.
