My dog Luther reminded me of Vivi when he was a puppy. He's all black and his eyes always glowed yellow. You could get a dog or cat and name it Vivi.

I agree with you and @HeartlessAngel in regards to X2. Playing dressup ruined things for me.

Which do you prefer - Chocobo or Moogle? I have to pick Moogles.

I already have a dog, named Baggins. He doesn't like cats much...

I'd choose chocobos - they are very helpful and their theme song is one of my favorites. Every time I start a new Final Fantasy game, I can't wait to find the chocobos.

Have you ever had a chance to see Distant Worlds? I went once and was fortunate to have met Nobuo Uematsu in the lobby of the venue. If you ever have a chance to see the show, you have to go.

No, I haven't. I do want to someday though, for sure.

Thank you for making this multiple choice!
Would have been a terrible decision to have to make otherwise O.o

I'm bloody old, so I went for IV and VI. I can't really get into anything beyond IX yet, maybe I'll give them another go one day. My son keeps nagging me to, but I'm pretty old school with the graphics - give me a sprite over a model anyday - they seem far more fantasy-like.

That said, I also voted for VIII. I hated it at first, it was far too different from what I was used to, but now I replay it more than any other apart from VI. Once I got the hang of junctioning the GFs I adored it - although I have to be feeling very patient before I tackle the Omega Weapon.

Terra is a great name - I wish I'd done the same - although mine would have been Rydia. I almost named my son Wren after the cyborg from Phantasy Star, but I was talked out of it :D

IX is FINALLY out on Steam now - think I might spend the next week glued to my computer replaying that, been a while since I last played it!

Final Fantasy VI is my all time fav. Just loved everything, from the setting/story/characters/villian/music etc.

Second choice is VII (and looking forward to the remake! I don't care about the neg things people are talking about it. I just want the game remade). Then Crisis Core (god that ending), then Dirge of Cerberus (which simultaneously made me love Vincent and Cait Sith more yet dislike Yuffie).

Lastly VIII (I remember being so excited, buying a special edition VII over again just for the 2 VIII cutscene's demo that came with it. Lol, still remember that black/white grainey footage from the 'prom' dance scene). Being shocked you got into the world map so early. Really enjoyed the 'realistic' looking people. Wasn't keen on the music though. Balamb Garden theme......ugh.

Everyone I know loves IX; but I never quite got into it. It was enjoyable, but a little OTT silly, and after VIII, the graphic style threw me off a bit... Kuja remains my fav baddie though. And IX has some off the best OST of any FF.

X was enjoyable, never played any of the online games. Haven't finished a FF since X-2. Hopefully XV will remedy that!

Sorry just came across this and had to throw my 2 cents in. 7 was the poo for me...in fact, I am probably going to pull the PS2 out of the closet and start a new game and just grind Cid/Cloud/Barrett up to 100 and just dominate.
