Has anyone heard of this? My youngest came across a YT video of someone playing it. After some questions and digging, I learned that it's a fan made hack. I'd like to get it, but afraid of downloading a virus. Plus the installation instructions look challenging. Lol. Anybody have any luck with it? If so, where'd you download it from?

I've seen some stuff about the game before, but haven't tried it. Doesn't look too difficult to install if you follow the developer's steps. You basically have to install the Homebrew software that will allow you to play those types of games. There's other homebrew stuff that you can get once you've enabled it on your Wii.

I would recommend downloading it just from the developer's web site. It gets shady when you go to these other sites that offer downloads of something you can get directly from the source.

I don't use my Wii at all anymore, so I should try this out.

@Sadie it looks like so much fun. Some kind soul completely redid all 8 world's of Mario to make a whole new game. Once someone smarter than me comes to install it, I'll let you know how fun it is!
@hoogie I have no idea who the person is who did it or how to find it. I found a website with installation instructions (oye!) and sent it to my geek friend and he said it all seems to check out and follow the directions to a T. Lol. Those directions are crazy.
Ever since we got the wii u we almost never touch the wii (for virtual games we have) only cause it's a pita to keep synching the controllers.

It looks overwhelming but if you follow the directions you should have no problems. Homebrew is fairly popular, and it's just the vehicle they're using to deliver the mod.

I remember hearing about people physically getting their Wiis modded when they came out. I bought a console quite a while after they came out, and have never really bothered with it. It's a nice option to install this software now.
