I think the transition from TWD Finale to FTWD Premiere was flawless and actually having Rick and Carol appear in a FTWD episode was awesome! The introduction of John was the highlight of this episode I think, and I can already tell he’s going to be a fan favorite. FTWD can actually create some really compelling characters and this was a great setup for hopefully a great season! Exciting

Gave it a 4. I understand why this was Episode 1, but it should not have been. It was sort of an insult to the show. Morgan's journey should have been in the second episode. Actually, Morgan's Journey should have been a standalone The Walking Dead Special. Like a 90-minute episode between S8 Finale and FTWD S4 Premiere.

It seemed a bit tedious. I love Maggie Grace's character. I like Garrett Dillahunt's character. I wanted to like him more but he just gives off a bad vibe. He seems annoying and I'm pretty sure his girlfriend he's searching for left his ass because he's a creep. Morgan is Morgan. Seems like walking across the country instantly made him less psychotic.

The single most annoying thing about the episode was the damn color. FTWD used to be so much more Vibrant, and even the beginning scenes from TWD were colored better. The whole episode seemed dark and almost black and white at times. The preview for the next episode looks like they ran the film through piss. Like dehydrated dark yellow piss. It's so damn yellowy. I hope the whole season isn't shitty looking like this.

    I gave it a 7.
My only complaints were that Morgan's cross over took up too much of the episode so there was no focus on the FTWD characters. Also, no Madison.

Overall, it was a good episode and I find John very interesting (love GD).

8/10. A little generous but it was refreshing given that TWD is such a crap feat now.

I love Lennie and Morgan but I hope they don't overdo it with him. We barely saw the main cast and that was the biggest complaint for me.

John is already my favorite character in the series and I think the majority of viewers are going to love him. The gun slinger stuff was a little over the top but TWD has a "king" and he's absolutely cheesy and written like a carnival type character

I love the title card intro to the show and have since the beginning but the remix of it at the beginning was great.

I liked it right up to the point that the old characters returned, I was SOOOO hoping for and ENTIRE new cast.
I see the Dead Wood trend continues with Garrett Dillahunt.
