Helps that it's on Netflix so you can watch it all at once and they can advertise it on their own platform.

Any of these reboots would do way better on Netflix, where they don't advertise ratings, and don't really seem to care, as long as someone is watching the stuff. The big networks likely wouldn't take a chance on a Fuller House or Home Improvement, because they'd cost way too much money to make and not get the returns they would need.

I'm shocked that Fuller House is doing well. I remember watching the original, and found it mildly funny at the time, but shows like that don't age well.

Most multi cam sitcoms are way too cheesy for me now, I find. Roseanne has grown on me, but that's the only one I can think of. We've been way too spoiled with single cam shows like Veep, Arrested Development, Silicon Valley, etc., that I find hilarious but aren't over the top. Maybe it's just my tastes changing.

Yeah, like every time I go on Netflix there is some giant preview of a netflix original on display at the very top.

They're insane. They're apparently going to spend $8 billion dollars this year on producing content. They'll apparently have 1000 original shows and movies on there by the end of the year.
