Decision that should of happened in this episode

As we all know Daryl and Len did not get along..After Len frames Daryl and is punished, what should had happened was Joe giving Daryl the decision to either kill Len or let Len live. This action could of also been used as development for Daryl and also give Joe an idea more or less on how Daryl thinks. Would he still let Len live after he framed him or kill him, obviously giving Joes view on Daryl if he needs to be trained still or has he evolved into one of them..as Daryl leaves, we either see Len still on the ground laying there left for dead or one of Daryls bolts in his head..I think this would of been great too see.

    Good view on that situation.

Good idea, would have added a bit more depth to the entire Joe / Daryl storyline. Nice!

I agree it could've given more depth. But the rules are the rules. They don't change for anyone. So that would've been breaking the rules of the group.

what you purpose would be interesting it really wouldn't benefit Joe. Joe comes across to me like your classic cult leader. By calling out Len and then having him "punished" he is showing Daryl that he has his back, that he is a "fair" man, thus Daryl becoming more trusting of him. Classic cult leader manipulation. Plus it also shows Daryl that if you break the rules there will be serious repercussions.

In Joe's mind he's already got Daryl figured out so there is no reason to test him at this point. Right now it is more about "training" the newbie and indoctrinating him into their belief system/culture. "Testing" loyality would come later on.

Len was punished for lying to Joe.....the attempted setting up of Daryl was "just disappointing" to Joe, not punishable.

Len was annoying, I'm glad he's gone.
