English version was wayyyy better. Shame most of the good cast members were gone after season 4-5.

I LOVED it until the story line with Frank and the woman with the bad heart. All kinds of terrible behavior I can laugh at but, for some reason I can't nail down, keeping her from the transplant just isn't funny and it's affected my enjoyment of the show. And I love William Macy and Frank. Except for that. Damn it.

    That was awful.

Watching the marathon made me realize that I really hated Fiona's storyline in Season 2. The Jasmine friendship was a bit interesting, but then it got stupid. It also seemed like it ended really abruptly.
Also the thing about Fiona pretending to be from Princeton was beyond stupid. I hated it.

I have to agree with you on that Fiona storyline. My family was a bit dysfunctional and there are moments in the show that really affect me. I was a bit of Fiona mixed in with Debbie, at least on the need to make sure everything ran smoothly. Steve once said, "I was raised by wolves too" and I yelled "yes" at the TV. So I am really invested in the show, for better or worse. Except the heart transplant. But I'm hoping I'll like this season.

Excellent episode but it sucks that my 2 favorite characters don't seem to be on the show anymore (Mickey & Sheila)

Frank was hilarious that episode lol. I miss Mick and Sheila too. Unfortunately I'm pretty sure Mickey is gone forever because of the whole behind the scenes drama, however there are rumors that Sheila will return this season.

    What happened behind the scenes?

There are no specific details but basically the actor decided to leave the show so they had no choice but to write the breakup scene at the end of the S5 finale. I'd like to see him come back but honestly, I think that was it. He's also been cast on an NBC pilot recently so yeah. If we see him again it'll probably be in the finale.
