Congrats on the Carick sub forum. I ship them as friends mostly, but would not object to a romance. The only thing that keeps me from going all the way is due to Michonne and Daryl, for Rick and Carol. I can get past the banishment, appearantly Rick and carol have.
They gave me so many feels in season 5, they were both in sync (not manipulation on Carols part despite the haters) but anyway, won't even go there. That is actually one of the things I have always loved about lurking the Carick thread, no hate, just love for the characters, easy breezy, good times.
and ohhh the hugs, oh lawd, the way Rick holds the back of Carol's head, so awesome. I read Carick fanfiction too, speaking of, there should be a fanfiction thread if one is not made yet cause unfortunately I have a hard time finding some. Anywho, just showing my support!! Congrats again.
Yup! There's a Carick fan fic thread already, waiting for the people who write them to post to it - I've already "mentioned" one of them and hopefully she'll post them soon!
Also, this subforum is for people who ship Rick and Carol as friends so this is your home just as much as everyone else!
In all long term relationships people are going to screw up and annoy you. It's kind of realistic. I think this song 'True Love' by P!nk could make a great background song for a compilation video for Carick.
To quote P!nk, "You're an asshole, but I love you."
PS This was a great surprise after being away from the forum for a few days!!!
There are not a lot of Carick fan fics. I think I've read most of them, unless some came out in the last month or so because I haven't check in a few weeks. Are they good? It depends on the writer. I'm looking forward to the one that Rambling Rose is writing. I'm waiting for it to be completed, because I rarely read works in progress. She's one of my favorite fan fic writers. She usually write Caryl stories and she has written some Daryl/Michonne and some Michonne/Andrea stories. But her main ship is Caryl. She is writing her first Carick story.
