    Walkers at the Fence.

I know these episodes are a few years old but every time I do my yearly blu-ray marathon before the new season (which I;m doing now) I shake my head at the Walker build up at the fence.

    1. Where the heck are all these Walkers coming from?
    2. What is drawing them to the prison (other than the writers)?
    3. Why don't they have a crew running 24/7 if that's what it takes to keep them off the fence, it seems to me the actual work would be cleaning them up, not killing them.
    4. Why are you letting the kids play by the fence, calling out to them and such, you're just attracting them there.
    5. Why weren't they reinforcing the fence all along? You have all these people laying around in their bunks and 5-6 people doing all the work.
    6. In the first episode of the season our heroes tell us they hooked up a boom box to draw the walkers away from the store, why wouldn't the do the same type of thing to draw them away from the fence/prison?
    7. Why aren't these people killing the random onesy/twosy walkers when they are near them, they are easy kills, they know they gravitate toward one another so why let them?

Because logic didn't exist during the prison arc.

Lizzie would've loved the stadium full of "friends" on FTWD. R.I.P. Lizzie.

We just finished watching 4a and it seems like a lot of people at the prison were living in denial about the ZA dangers.

Good post. The fences are vulnerable with the build up. I was astounded that they collapsed while Daryl and company were away and yet were up the next day when Daryl is looking for Carol.
Rick and Carl kill like two hundred walkers and never miss a head shot.

Haha. Hub made a point Sunday night that the big bad, fully equipped military men get overtaken in the apartment building and Rick and Carl kicked ass in that scene...lol

Fear the Dead doesn't seem to play the wild hero card. Madison had to beat the heck out of the principal's head before they got away. I really hated that scene with Rick and Carl because it doesn't happen that way. The soldiers armed with automatic rifles, and all sorts of armor barely got away and one didn't make it. That's the way it works.
