if they killed off michonne rick and andrea (the only characters worth sticking around for) would you still read?
i dont think i would. i think id be done once rick dies.

It depends. If Carl was alone, probably not. If he had other interesting characters with him, yes. But I think they'd have to be characters that were around a while. I'd have to be very interested in them.
if michonne and andrea were still around then probably until they die...
Meh i'd read if it was michonne, andrea, paul and carl but if the first 3 died then i don't know if it was just carl then probably not
The thing is there's no character in TWD that can carry the book by themselves in my opinion. If you got rid of Carl, Andrea, Michonne and everyone else and just had Rick (Lets just say he doesn't give up when Carl dies) - i can tell you now i would be bored shit out of my mind. It's Ricks relationship to these other characters which keep me engaged. If it was just Rick, and a bunch of characters i don't give a shit about then i doubt i'd continue reading. It's the same with Carl. If everyone were to die but Carl, and it was just him - i'd be bored. Unless there was a bunch of new characters who are likable, keep me entertained. Though take note that's my opinion for current Carl. Future Carl, assuming he survives could change that. He's one of my favorite characters, who knows what he'll become in the future.
Heck, what am i saying i probably would still read it just because it's TWD. ^_^
With good plotting and character development, I would continue with any combination of the current characters, as long as Andrea and the Gov are not among them. Give us an early Xmas and kill that bitch before she does something else stupid, traitorous, or whorish. (Sorry. Thats off topic but I couldn't resist).
I've always seen the story as it unfolds through Rick's eyes (mostly). I'm not sure if I could follow if he were taken out. Even though the material is good, that would be the 'jumping the shark' moment to me. The only exception being if Rick were to die within the last few issues before Kirkman is finished ~ apx 297 or so if he ends it at 300.
No. I hope RK won't kill any of the four leads until the series starts coming to a close
I think rick will die towards the end but somebody else will take over i wouldn't really mind of michonne and paul as they are cool but carl could be their but if everybody died and it was just carl finding people and they died it would get boring i do like ricks relationship with these characters and it keeps driving the characters but carl isn't one that could really have relationships with all these characters like his father before him
I wouldnt keep reading but id keep watching
