I couldn't kill Lilly. I actually wanted to but my reason for not killing her actually had nothing to do with caring about her. I just hoped there would be a scene where you got to have a conversation with her to talk about everything that's happened because it seemed like there was more going on with Lilly than was being let on but it never really got to happen because there wasn't any quiet moments. Like one thing I do remember about Season 2 is there was a lot of talking between Kenny and Clementine. Everything moved too quickly between Clementine and Lilly in this. Not really a bad thing but that's why I didn't kill her. At the end I tried to kill her though but it was too late.
I'm okay with Clem not dying. It seemed too obvious to kill her just because it was the end. Not every character has to die.
As a Kenny fan I wished there was some talk about him but I guess it would have felt out of place and it's been a bunch of years since Kenny died. My one criticism is that the game panders a bit. They know what Lee means to the fans so they had to have that Lee moment which was kind of unnecessary. It's one thing to talk about Lee but her still having dreams about him after all these years is weird. She didn't know him that long. She knew Kenny and Christa (who they just totally forgot about) longer and Clementine doesn't seem to miss her parents at all. A dream sequence where we finally met her parents would've maybe been cool. Or a flashback that takes place just before Lee showed up of little Clementine with her babysitter as the world was going to shit. But it's all about Lee for some reason. And don't get me wrong, I liked Lee but she met a lot of characters on this journey. If you're gonna talk about Lee maybe talk about some of the others.
I do wish it would've been longer. Not necessarily the episodes being longer but I think they easily could've done 6 episodes instead of 4. Like I said, it would've been nice to spend more time with Lilly and Minnie when you're a prisoner.
