True, just show a flashback to Madison getting the good ole helicopter treatment before the zombies get into the stadium.

It seems weird to me. I'm glad Rick isn't dead, but why feel the need to pull him from the show? If Andy insists on working less in order to be with his family IRL, give Rick less screen time on the show and allow for other characters to have their own arcs. It just seems like an unnecessary step to fix something that wasn't even broken to begin with.

Exactly. Old Man Rick's been a thing in the comics for a long while, and if Gimple hadn't screwed up with Carl, we could have had Rick taking a backseat going off on scouting/group missions for several episodes while Carl/Judith take the spotlight.

Unless AMC's going to pony up the money to get a new all-star cast to rally around Lincoln (with these ratings? unlikely), this is likely a stillborn idea. FTWD is on life support and TWD is just barely hanging in.

This is unbelievable. The AMC execs are so incredibly desperate to keep viewers that instead of coming with NEW and ORIGINAL shows, they're willing to sacrifice the story conclusion of their MAIN character in order to have him star in a couple TV movies that everyone will forget ever existed when it's all said and done.

What the fuck is it gonna be after that ? The 3rd movie ends on a cliffhanger, and to know the rest I have to read some exclusive comic book series ? And after that a new mobile game ? How hard is it to give the one guy who's been there since day 1 a proper ending ? Same guys who called back the Sam actor for 5 seconds in Terminus to give his character closure btw.

This fucking franchise will outlive us all. And so will Tara apparently.

I can't wrap my head around the fact that Tara got 50 minutes all to herself and they can't even bother to give Rick some closure lmao

So three movies that will actually have story enough for one movie. Should be saying RIP Rick.

What's more suspenseful than the leaders who have yet to be tested making decisions for a while? Brilliant move. Please, let us remember this is a suspense and thriller series. It's not just about prosthetics.
