FTWD Season 5 Commences Filming in New Braunfels, TX

    https://www.chron.com/entertainment/...6l_d5V4yAVgUIc

Filming for season 5 has begun. According to the article:

Central Texas will continue serving as the backdrop for AMC's "Fear the Walking Dead" in the show's upcoming season.

The New Braunfels Journal reported the zombie series will be filming in the town, about 45 minutes north of San Antonio, during the next "several" months for the fifth season premiering in 2019.

Executive producer Andrew Chambliss told the journal he chose the local textile mill as an area to film.

I live in San Antonio and work in New Braunfels. If I get a chance, I'll see if I can scope out the filming area.

From what I have discerned on Reddit, they are already filming on ep. 5-6 and that Ruben Blades has been filming for awhile and will continue to film for "months."

We're getting a lot of Daniel this season.

Hell yeah. I have faith in the show when it comes to Daniel Salazar. Back when season 4 ended and people were upset that Daniel never popped up(which I can understand and related) I just kept saying "he'll have this big dramatic return in season 5 and he'll get a lot of screentime and there will be flash backs. The longer the wait, the better the pay off"

I just hope Troy shows back up. Alive.

I wouldn't be surprised if there were ZERO flashbacks. Fear seems like the kind of show to just say here's your story, take it or leave it.
