    Bird Box

Anyone else watch Bird Box? I was off for two weeks for Christmas break and watched it three times.

I'm a big horror movie buff and loved it. Although I didn't see it as much of a horror film as a suspense/thriller.

It was a Fine movie, entertaining enough... but like most film adaptations, the book is better.

I soooo agree! I read this in like ... october and thought, this would be a dope movie...lool!
the reworking of the script kept the essential big moments in tact but with some elements glossed over. Gary was a pivotal character in the book, some screen time should have been devoted to exploring his character as it would would only add to the hype! The idea that some survivors are immune to the immediate devastating effects of viewing the "creatures" was an angle worth doing more than noting. lastly, there were some twd themes: who is worth saving; do devastating circumstances warrant sacrificing one's humanity, the drive/desire to re-create society.

I thought it was worth the watch and agree that it was more of a thriller than horror. Haven't read the book so I should put it on my list.

Fuck that, the cocksucker who wrote the book in 2014 ripped off a twilight zone reboot episode called "need to know" written 30 years ago. So sick of these hacks plagerizing ideas as if no one has a memory. Yeah lookin at you too kirkman

I might have watched it if it wasn’t so fucking overhyped. It’s all I hear about. It’s grated on my last nerve and now I can’t stand to even hear of it

I watched it, but only because my 24y/o daughter kept bugging me until I did. Im a Sandra Bullock fan, but don't think this was her best role. The movie was just okay. Nothing really special IMHO.

I watched it twice and loved it. When Rick identified himself on the walkie, I immediately thought of Rick Grimes. It's interesting that the actor that played him was the same actor who played Otis in TWD.
