Rate Season 10A

Now that the first half of season 10 has aired, what rating would you give it overall?

Did you like how it has played out so far? Is there anything you would like to have seen? Anything you wished they had done differently?

What did you like/dislike about it?

I gave it a 7. It's not quite as good as last season, but it's still pretty good. I'd have to go through prior Rate and Review posts for this season to get specific about what I did and didn't like, but I'm not in the mood.

7. It's not as good as last season but it's not bad. You can tell they are just killing time.

The cold war with the Whisperers is cool, and yet at the same time it's caused the plot to slow way down. The writing continues to be much better, but two issues that were fixed in season 9 have clawed their way back in: dropping characters/communities for several episodes at a time and prolonging story events to fit into the 16 episode format. There's no reason /that/ scene with Negan and Alpha had to be pushed deeper into the second half as opposed to the MSF.

Carol's actions this first half make sense--it's not bad writing given what she's lost--but it is the biggest source of constant frustration for me in these first episodes.

If they were gonna drag anything out, I wish it would have been Dante's storyline after he killed Siddiq. Instead of having Rosita discover what happened, have Dante convince everyone that Siddiq committed suicide because of his PTSD and inability to keep the sick from dying.

I'll give it a 6 - generally I liked it but found it a little slow. It would have been a 7 but I'm taking a whole point off for that idiotic "no one saw the obvious trap & are now trapped even though they're all too smart to go running into a dark cave" bullshit in the last episode.

6/10 It wasn’t terrible compared to recent seasons, but I feel like nothing happened. Entirely too much time was wasted on Siddiq and I didn’t like how Dante was immediately killed off after killing Siddiq. The best part of 10A IMO was that Negan finally became a character that I wanted to watch.

I found it to be some of the finest television to come out of the franchise. 9/10.

I gave it a 6. Its no where near its peak but compared to a lot of shows out there, this first half season was okay.

I gave it a six, kinda boring but just over a five, as middle-ground, because it could have been a lot worse. I also don't expect much these days. I am debating if I will keep watching until the end, if it is ending on season twelve, I was going to stop watching when Michonne leaves.
