I only know what Meesha posted in the spoiler. From the context of things Carol says to him during the time he's with Leah, it sounds like the story of his relationship may be told in flashback. That's JMO.

From what I am hearing is that Carol tells Daryl she can't come see him in the woods anymore. So he decides to go back to Leah. And get this she has a dead adopted son. So it seems Leah didn't like him going back to his camp all the time or back to his family. Or even looking for Rick. So she tells him he has to choose her or them. Then when Carol tells him she can't see him he goes back to Leah and she is gone. I am thinking she finds her man or husband or something. Just so odd.
