My coin flip was between Days Gone By and 18 Miles Out, and Days takes it by a nose.

Either Clear or Days Gone Bye. I choose Days Gone Bye. The visuals, the cinematography, the acting, the setting, the whole episode was such an enormous standout. The rest of the episodes don't even come close, except for Clear.

To date my fave is Days Gone By. The whole tone and vibe of that very first episode was something I had not seen on tv before and not very many have come close since.

Could need one of these, at times.

Days Gone Bye is amazing, of course. The whole setting makes me uncomfortable (which is a good thing for a horror series). As mentioned the only thing I do not like about it (same for Clear and 18 Miles Out) is that the cast is not featured. I enjoy the ensemble and while I like Morgan a lot, Days Gone Bye will never be my favourite.

However, if I'm going objectively by setting, camera work and acting, it's the best one of the series, yes.

Days gone bye was a bit too slow for my taste. But it was still epic and classic

"Classic" is a good word to describe it. It reminded me of the good old zombie/distopian movies I watched when I was younger and not allowed to. ;)

Exactly. Days Gone Bye is a classic, one of the best TV-episodes there is. After that, both visually and atmospherically, the quality dropped drastically.

Agreed. Days Gone Bye was devestating visually. Like Clear, all the fat was trimmed and what was left was amazing.
