Question: Any idea on how Season 4 of The Walking Dead is going to start off time-wise? Will there be a time jump of a few months, or will it pick up around where Season 3 left off? —Lee
Ausiello: I’m hearing there will be a somewhat significant time jump (hint: more than three months but less than a year).

I messaged the actress who plays Mrs. McLeod earlier today asking if she was going to be in Season 4, and she responded back to me saying that she will, and that the producers called her three weeks ago.

Spoiler Compilation Season 4. No questions or comments. Just the Facts!

Compilation of known facts about season 4 of The Walking Dead: Will be periodically updated

    1. "Roy Stark now known as Bob Stookey/Bob Stookie = " He's a former army medic who had serious issues even before the zombie apocalypse. Apparently, he's a loner in his early 30s to mid 40s, who is still "charming/self-deprecating/confident" around people." Casting call information. http://spoilthedead.com/forum/showthread.php/4669-New-season-4-regular

    2. "Time jump" = Gale Ann Hurd, Gale said. “Every season, yes, there will more than likely be a passage of time. It’s unlikely to follow directly after the end of this episode.”
    http://spoilthedead.com/forum/showthread.php/4675-Timeskip-more-than-likely-every-season

    3. Walkers will become a bigger threat for survivors = Gale Ann Hurd: "Yeah, I don’t think that in a show that goes from season to season -- we are living in a zombie apocalypse, we’re living in an apocalypse where we know that unless someone has brain trauma, they’re going to come back. Regardless of how they die, they’re going to turn into a zombie. So I think it would be a good bet to say that the zombies become more threatening in seasons to come.

IGN: That’s interesting, because it seems like they’re so comfortable with the fact that they’ve got it handled, in a way. Hurd: Yeah, I think we’ve come to discover that in a post-zombie apocalypse you can never get too comfortable with anything"

    http://spoilthedead.com/forum/showthread.php/4701-Another-Gale-Ann-Hurd-on-Season-4-article-some-hints

    4. The Governor, Martinez and Shumpert are alive out there somewhere; The Governor (at least) will return =

Gale Ann Hurd: "Who knows? The Governor is still out there with Shumpert and Martinez. They’ve still got significant firepower. If they go to Woodbury, at this point, Woodbury’s not as protected as it used to be..." http://spoilthedead.com/forum/showthread.php/4701-Another-Gale-Ann-Hurd-on-Season-4-article-some-hints

    5. Graphic Novel & TV show stories will diverge more = Gale Ann Hurd also revealed that fans should expect The Walking Dead to divert further from writer Robert Kirkman's original comic series.

"They are on two separate tracks and sometimes they intersect but more than likely there's not going to be any sequence of panels from the comic book that's going to be brought to life exactly the same way on the series," she said.

"Since Robert Kirkman's in the writers room, everything has his approval. He's involved in every decision. When we do depart with characters, their fates or their interactions, he's had his voice heard." http://spoilthedead.com/forum/showthread.php/4571-Walking-Dead-to-become-more-complicated-in-season-4

    6. Rick shifts his view and realizes people need to band together in order to survive = Robert Kirkman, "... This is the moment where Rick takes a turn; he’s no longer going to be pushing people away, he’s no longer going to be doing what ever he can to protect these people in ways that hurt other people.

He’s not going to be the guy who would leave that guy on the side of the road — the backpack guy in Episode 12. He’s letting the people of Woodbury in and trying to tell Carl that these people are like us, you have to be open to this and the only way to survive in this world is to have people and be in a community. That’s going to be a big part of season four.”

    http://spoilthedead.com/forum/showthread.php/4556-Robert-Kirkman-some-Season-4-amp-GN-Spoilers

    7. Tyreese & Rick will become closer = Robert Kirkman "... Kirkman maintains that at least some of season 4 will focus on the dynamic between Rick and the recently-welcomed Tyreese..."

“There’s some really, really cool and big stuff that people have been expecting, or that people have been anticipating from the comics, that will work into Season 4To give a hint, I will say that we do have Tyreese and Rick, who are now united, which is a big moment for the comic book fans. There’s a lot of story that comes from those two guys being on the same side. We’ll possibly see a bit of that in Season 4.”

    http://spoilthedead.com/forum/showthread.php/4556-Robert-Kirkman-some-Season-4-amp-GN-Spoilers

    8. Carl's growth: more Governor or Rick-like in values? = Robert Kirkman "...While Rick seems more intent on exploring his compassionate side, and possibly learning to grow a community, Carl has adopted a far more ruthless, kill-or-be-killed type of mentality. As evidenced by his merciless killing of a young man who appeared to have been surrendering, Carl’s shift into that of a child soldier has now yielded some negative results, and the youngster may soon find himself at an ideological crossroads with his father.

“Rick’s got his work cut out for him. He’s aware of this and he sees what allowing his son to become a child soldier has brought, which is a very big part of Season 4. Moving forward in the show, this is a guy who’s working as hard as he can to maintain a life for this child. [In] the process of surviving… he’s allowed his son to lose a pretty substantial piece of his humanity. It’s now a question of: Is there going back? Is this now status quo? These are the things that a father will have to deal with.”

    http://spoilthedead.com/forum/showthread.php/4556-Robert-Kirkman-some-Season-4-amp-GN-Spoilers

    9. Woodbury people integrate with Rick's group = Robert Kirkman, "Rick welcomed not only Tyreese and Sasha into the fold, but he also brought the people of Woodbury to the prison."

    10. Daryl grieves Merle, affected by Merle's death, = Robert Kirkman, " ... I wouldn't want to spoil anything, but Daryl is a complex character and he's really got a lot of emotional hurdles to get over in his life. It is kind of odd that we haven't seen him in that kind of romantic light, but I think that adds a layer to the character that makes him a little more mysterious and a little cooler. But I wouldn't rule out some kind of love interest for him in the future."

    [How Merle's death affects Daryl]

Norman Reedus: "Totally. There's these little moments of hope for Daryl, where he thinks the world can get better. There's reasons why people fight and I'm always trying to play him like he's had his back is against the wall from day one. He gets these little glimpses of hope; that the world can get better, that his life can get better, that there is a silver lining to all of this. There was so much hope in being reunited with Merle, that's why he wanted Glenn to be open to forgiving him. It was a moment of sunbeams in this storm, but the sun keeps getting taken away from him. It's hard. It's hard on everybody, and I really feel bad for Daryl.

ETonline: Will Merle's death make it harder for Daryl to muster up the energy to fight?

Reedus: Daryl just turns to stone. He gets hard. He started hard, but he gets even harder. There are so many people who want to kill this guy, and it's not even like Daryl wants to kill The Governor now, he wants to rip his face off. It's a whole new level of hate.

    http://spoilthedead.com/forum/showthread.php/4033-Norman-Reedus-Death-Turns-Daryl-To-Stone

    11. “…people that aren’t villains, may turn into villains.” Norman Reedus, "It’s interesting because people that aren’t villains, may turn into villains, you know what I mean? Carl just shot a kid in the face..."

    http://spoilthedead.com/forum/showthread.php/4606-Norman-Reedus-Article-Possible-New-Spoilers, http://blogs.wsj.com/speakeasy/2013/04/03/norman-reedus-on-the-future-of-the-walking-dead/

Gale Ann Hurd "...also hinted that someone in Rick’s group will betray them. “It is the people who you think you can trust who betray you,” Gale says, “that you have to fear.” The executive producer continued, “You know who is going to be the one who’s had enough. Like, Shane saw Rick as a threat to their survival. He’s not that only one who’s going to have those feelings.” From Norman Reedus’ previous interview, it sounds like the character in question could be Carl"

    12. Another mid-season break between episode blocks "Production also revealed that “The Walking Dead” season four will have a midseason break..." http://www.examiner.com/article/the-walking-dead-season-4-spoilers-roundup-time-jump-premiere-and-more

    13. Lawrence Gilliard, Jr., (D'Angelo Barksdale) of "The Wire" has been cast in the Role of Bob Stookey, original casting notice named this character "Roy Stark", as in # 1 above ^.

Google just recently updated the satellite images of the area around the farm and studio and it now shows the prison on the back lot. I have been watching this area for a long time and they have cleared out the woods between the farm and studio
