    AL: Painful Midseason Finale

    http://tvline.com/2013/10/11/the-wal...nale-spoilers/

my mind instantly went to Judith dying

    - - - Updated - - -

TVLINE | Have you had to shoot any scenes that rival Rick’s breakdown over Lori’s death?

There’s been one scene that was pretty painful to do — it’s always the midseason finale! [Laughs] It was all going so well for me this year, I was farming and just kicking back – I thought it was going to be a really relaxed season for me – and then they just go, ‘Bam!’ [Makes crashing noise].

It was this that made me think Judith is a goner

Hope not. Great interview. This is the second time he has described the mid season finale as the best episode.

I wouldn't be surprised if Judith died. The easiest way for the writers to do it would be to have her succumb to the illness. I doubt they will have a baby graphically ripped apart by zombies, but perhaps they will have her go out in the prison attack?

I'd like to see them have some balls and keep her around though. Probably not a realistic expectation on my part. :/

well I wish we could just fast-forward to the mid season finale and see the final battle between the governor and the prison group.

What interests me most about this is the fact it came out so early since the biggest scoop was about the mid-season finale. I'm sure AMC had a handler present or somebody had to approve the content or what AKL said, so why is it in their best interest to let out that info for a December 1, episode?

I know that one episode is essentially supposed to be verbatim from the comic - I've always assumed this meant the Governor's final assault on the prison. Perhaps Judith dies as she does in the comics, only with another person holding her. (Beth, or perhaps Hershel?)

I am far more intrigued by Lincoln's statement in the article that one of the group decides to play God. And he emphasized the point. Perhaps, when people get sick, this person decides to kill them, rather than try to heal them or wait to see if they get better. I can see Hershel at odds with someone that would rather cut to the chase than try to help people get better... and that could cause all sorts of internal conflict among the group.

I'm with 2cents. That part sounded really interesting. I too, could see Judith dying in the mid-season finale. Though I thought she'd be gone last season, so what do I know? lol

I'm still sticking by Hershel. There's been so much emphasis about Hershel becoming Rick's mentor and guide and Hershel trying to see the good in the world, his death just seems like the most devastating to the group as a whole.
