    Thank you...
I love Asian horror. They're so much more frightening than than the American one's, IMO. If I'm not mistaken, the film Shutter is from Thailand. You could hear it in the dialect. Nevertheless, that movie was so scary, that after I watched it, I had to sleep with the lights on. :)

I met Linda Blair at Comic Con and she's the nicest person. She's really into animal rights and I showed her pics of my rescue cat. k, you had to be there....
Hell Night is my favorite Linda Blair movie.

I was once told that this was the horrible 70s film "Gargoyles". It is not.
You could be talking about The Creeping Flesh. It sounds similar, but the skeleton doesn't really have horns.

    Dolls (1985)

-as a child, this movie must have scared me the most because my grandmother had a collection of very similar looking dolls, and some would malfunction and randomly laugh or make a noise whenever I was alone.

    Trick r' Treat (2007)
-Anthology horror is one my favorite types. This one does it awesomly.

    IT(1990)
-technically considered a tv series, but I'm gonna count it because, again as a child, it made me afraid of things like sewer drains and big showers.
    The remake isn't terrible either.

    Child's Play (1988)
-before Chucky went full comedy. Love the original trilogy. Don't care much for the bride and seed of. Curse of and Cult of were pretty good considering. Plus I love that Brad Dourif will do the voice even when the budget is much smaller. Even brought his daughter into the mix pretty nicely. :P

The rest of my list will just be little comments, an no year (because I don't have time to look up the years of all these movies) :P

The Thing (with Kurt, loved the practical effects and the whole idea of it)

    A Nightmare on Elm Street
    Friday the 13th
    Halloween

-All of these are considered some of the bests for me. Even have a ton of fun sequels. Don't much care for any of the recent remakes of any of them.

Trilogy of Terror (1 and 2)
    Creepshow (1 and 2)
ABCs of Death (1 and 2)
Tales From the Darkside the Movie
    Twilight Zone the Movie
    Tales of Terror
    Vault of Horror
    Tales from the Hood
    The House that Dripped
    Deadtime Stories
    Campfire Tales
    Terror Tract

-anthologies are some of my favorites with horror movies and books

Leprechaun - great original trilogy. The hood ones are pretty dumb though. I haven't seen the newest non-hood one, but I will soon enough.

    Dawn of the Dead
    Night of the Living Dead
    Day of the Dead
    Land of the Dead
    Return of the Living Dead
    Zombi 2
    28 Days Later
    Train to Busan

-love the zombie types (I know 28 days later weren't technically living dead, but I still count it just because)
untimately I don't care for running zombies, but I've learned to accept it.

    Demons (1 and 2)
    Night of the Demon
    Night of the Demons

-like zombies, demons are always fun

    Alien (all of them)
    Critters
    Gremlins
    Ghoulies
    Predator
    Troll

-love me some hidden at first type of movies

    The Lost Boys
    Dead Silence
    Maniac Cop
    Night of the Hunter

    Ringu
    Tomie
    Uzumaki
    Ju-on
    Shutter
    The Eye
    Dark Water
    Carved
    Norio
    Pulse
    Audition
    Silk
    I Saw the Devil
    Acacia

-Asians generally do horror really well. The remakes of the few of these that have them tend to suck for me.

    Psycho
    Rear Window
    The Birds
    Strangers on a Train
    Vertigo
    Rope
    Dial "M" for Murder
    The Lady Vanishes

-Hitchcock was great at the psychological horror

    Pet Semetary
    Cujo
    Dreamcatcher
    Sleepwalkers
    Night Shift
    Cat's Eye
    Carrie
    Salem's Lot

-Just a few of the many awesome Stephen King movies out there

    Wait Until Dark
    Evil Dead (all)
    Horror High
    Slaughter High
    Monster High

    Sleepaway Camp
    Cherry Falls
    Scream (all of them)

    Susperia
    Deep Red
    Inferno
    The Beyond
    Cannibal Holocaust
    The House by the Cemetary
    Don't Torture a Duckling
    Kill, Baby, Kill
    Stage Fright

    -Italian horror is awesome too

    Castle Freak
    House
    Poltergeist
    Beetlejuice
    The Last Man on Earth
    The Legend of Hell House
The House on Haunted Hill (original and remake)
    13 Ghosts (original and remake)
    The Haunting (original, remake sucked)
    Hellraiser
    Pumpkinhead
    Grim
    Rumplestilskin
    It Follows
A Texas Chainsaw Massacre (most sequels were good too)
    Killer Klowns from Outer Space
The Blob (original and the remake)
    The Stuff
    They Live
    Invasion of the Body Snatchers

I ran out of time.. there are so many more I didn't get to mention that are also so fun to watch. Perhaps I will return after work to continue.

Some classics mentioned already and a few I need to check out. Are the Hills Have Eyes classed as horrors? Love those films, especially the original first one, the second one was only ok but the remakes were good. Another good one is Race With The Devil from the 70's, check it out if you haven't seen it. Another I'm not sure if it's classed as a horror is Wolf Creek, brilliant film as are the follow ups and the tv series they made later is brilliant also.

I would definitely class Wolf Creek as horror; I actually found it difficult to watch - I think because it felt like it could really happen. Did you know it's a real place (Wolfe Creek Crater in Western Australia) & the movie was based on several real life Australian crimes? I like the remakes of The Hills Have Eyes but I haven't seen the originals.
