Now I'm reading Rot & Ruin by Jonathan Maberry and The Walking Dead comics.
I'm an Anglophile so I understand a lot of the hidden subculture she covers. Like how a group of Southern women converse and there are entire universes of nuances an outsider misses? "Bless him/her! So far so good, almost finished.

Waking the Zed is free 4/24 and 4/25 on Amazon. There's a followup called The Twice Dead on Amazon too. I mention this because these are both in the "realistic zombie genre" like TWD.

    Re-reading Wuthering Heights..
One of my favorite books ever.. <3 Lovely story.

“Because misery, and degradation, and death, and nothing that God or Satan could inflict would have parted us, you, of your own will did it. I have not broken your heart - you have broken it; and in breaking it, you have broken mine. So much the worse for me that I am strong.”
    - Emily Bronte.

I'm reading Someday, Someday, Maybe by Lauren Graham. She's the actress from Gilmore Girls and Parenthood and she wrote kind of a light, funny little book about a woman trying to make it as an actress in the mid-90s. I'm sure it's quite autobiographical. It's fun -- good summer reading. I needed something fluffy after the horrible book I read for my book club.
