Which comic book storylines would you like them to skip or include (comic spoilers)?

personally i wouldnt skip any of the up and coming ones such as

alexandrea and the saviors

. also i think the fear the hunters arc would work very well on tv but itd have to be different

I would skip the Hunters arc unless they could duplicate the cannibals in The Road. Those guys really sent a shiver down my spine.

oh yeah in both the film and the book that really got under my skin. that actually makes me think if they merged

volume 9 of the comics where for the most part its just rick and car with cannibal plot

thatd be exciteing. although i suppose thatd be too much like the road and like you say no way could they pull them off as creepy as in that film

Alexandria somewhere down the road and I would love for the assault to have an inclusion in the show in some way.

There's no way they could duplicate how big it was in the comics but

they could at least make us care about the Woodburians enough to where it would have an impact when/if it happens.

And I would skip the Soap opera crap from volume four.

Instead of having Michonne start a relationship with Tyreese, I'd rather see her as an independent, possibly asexual badass.

Personally, I wouldn't skip anything, as long as the writers can do justice to every scene they do!

Sorry I'm tired of seeing just Glenn and Maggie as a couple. I want to see an African-American couple on the Walking Dead. It can also give Michonne some more character development.

Besides, the soap opera stuff in volume four revolves around Carol, Tyreese and Michonne, and Carol is too confident in the TV show to go cutting her wrists if she saw Tyreese making love with Michonne. Besides she's got Daryl so I don't think we'll see her going out with Tyreese at anytime.

Relationships aren't tolerated well on these forums from what I've seen. In all seriousness, one can be in a relationship and be just as strong as someone who isn't. Glenn got much tougher because he has Maggie.

I think too many people have latched onto the Daryl/Michonne solo bit as a template for toughness a little too literally.

To include

Fear the hunters arc. Take that core storyline, add a bunch of original stuff and make that the storyline for an entire season. It's possible. Doesn't have to be near the same time it happened in the comic, could be in season 7.

Spoiler:

In the comic after the Governor comes back and destroys Team Prison and forces them out, Rick and Carl are split up from the rest of the group. While not an arc, it could be seen as a 'mini storyline' - there's some really good issues there and Michonne eventually meets with Rick and Carl. I hope this makes it.
