    Beth and the Rich Bitch

I was wondering why Beth found it necessary to put away or in this case cover the “rich bitch”. She was clearly dead unlike the hanging walkers that gained Andreas sympathy in season 2. All I can think is because Beth saw the sign on her she may have been killed out of rage with the onset of the ZA and it was a “murder” so she couldn’t deal with it. I think they mentioned in TTD that the strung up Zeds were members of the club that were hung by employees, perhapse the same happened to the "rich bitch". The world is going to shit and the employees are taking out anger, fear etc. on the members.
    Any thoughts?

I thought her reaction was strange. Since the place looked ransacked, I agree Beth felt it was murder unlike the hanging walkers.

Also, even though Hershel's family didn't act or behave as wealthy people when their characters were first introduced, they DID own a large home, a lot of land, horses and other livestock, and he was a vet.

In Georgia, that is considered wealthy. It is possible Beth felt some kind of reaction to the sign.

I wondered about that since the other walkers who were clearly wealthy did not seem to bother her at all.

IMO, the fact that the woman had had her top ripped open, and was displayed on a mannequin, implied not only gendered violence but perhaps sexual assault. I think that's what Beth was reacting to, and why she wanted to cover her (although it was not presented clearly).

I think Beth felt the woman had been violated and murdered, and thus deserved respect in death.

Likely that Beth had been called that name at school; rubbed her the wrong way.

Agreed. As a woman, Beth would be more likely to react to a violation to another woman than would Daryl. He doesn't think it matters anymore because the woman is dead. But Beth being the emotional nurturer she is would want to give the woman some dignity in death and right what wrongs that she could.

My question is on how Beth and Darryl dealt with the dormant or dead/dead walkers overall. The dormant walkers that they came across didn't seem to have the same tell-tale signs of head trauma that other dead/dead walkers have had (for example the bodies that Michonne and Carl came across in last week's episode). A dormant walker bit Hershel in the season opener of Season 3. So I'm surprised they didn't show some of those dormant walkers coming "back" to life so to speak, especially if they didn't have head trauma.

I think it had to do with the violence and the way her body was displayed. It was obvious contempt for the woman.

It was obvious the woman was violated so Beth wanted to leave the poor woman with the last bit of dignity she had left
